McAfee Viral Combat Game
McAfee makes security software for your computer. They wanted a viral game to attract users, complement their brand mission, and direct traffic to their product packages. The idea of branding a Bejewelled-style game with virus icons and reframe the activity as defeating bugs was a natural. The game is designed in Flash for the web, with interstitial advertising panels between levels, and tracking through Google Analytics and AddThis sharing.
Designed and developed in Flash by Frank Ladd, project by Pod Design for McAfee.
